I have seen quite a few stories about students who have just posted a picture on Facebook or even gotten in FINED for having a Facebook.
Digital Life from MSN reports that a girl posted a bikini photo on Facebook, that only friends and family could see, and because of that, she is not able to graduate.
The Daily Dot reports that private Jewish girl school fines any student $100 if they have a Facebook account. Why? Rabbi Benzion Stock, the school’s main administrator, told the New York Daily News that Facebook is “not a modest thing for a Jewish girl — or man or woman…to be on.”
The Daily Dot reports of a teacher in Dayton, Ohio having to delete all of her students that are her friends because the district bans it.
What are your thoughts on schools looking at student’s Facebook accounts and teachers Facebook accounts. Do you think this should be happening. Leave a comment below.
